a good day is when you find out that you made an A on a speech. A bad day is when you start your period the day you find out you have a research paper due the same day as a speech, and that day is in two days, which is also the day car insurance is due, and with the same paycheck, you have to pay your phone bill. but you just had to have some vital wire replaced in your car, because it stopped working while on your way to class, the last class day before an exam. and because it's really hard to reach, and your dad insists you go to the dealer, it costs four times as much as you should pay. and because you spend all morning at the dealership, waiting for your damn wire, you're late for work, and that just so happens to be the day the district manager is in. so you come in unbathed, cramping, stressed out about having to pay tons of money getting some stpid wire replaced, stressed out about a paper and a speech due in two days, and about a test that you won't be prepared for because your car chose that day to tell you that there was a problem with some damn corroded wire, and you have to smile so big and fight back a million tears and pretend that you aren't late or unbathed so that maybe the district manager who could eat you for breakfast if she so chose won't think you're a loser.
